After School Program

Girls Inc. After-School Program is open to girls in grades K-12

Girls Inc. Provides:

Transportation from most MCCSC schools to Girls Inc.
After school snack
Age-group programs developed just for girls
Teen Room
Homework Help in the Resource Center
Trained and dedicated staff provide a mentoring component

Hours:

3:00pm--6:00pm Monday-Friday (age-group programs from 4:45pm--5:45pm)

Programs Include:

Sporting Chance® ~ Creative Expression ~ Operation SMART® ~ Leadership Skills ~ Chemistry ~ Homework Help ~ Hands-On Science ~ Media Literacy

Girls Inc. programming falls into six core areas:

Career choice and life planning
Self-reliance and life skills
Health and sexuality
Sports and adventure
Leadership and community action
Culture and heritage

Program Fee:

There is no additional After-School Program fee for Girls Inc. members. Membership is on a sliding scale starting at $55/year. Full day programs are available for an additional fee on some days when MCCSC is closed. Financial assistance is available.
