Coaches
Girls Inc. relies on volunteers with coaching experience to give our members a positive sports experience. Coaches/Instructors are responsible for running practices and coaching games twice a week during each season: volleyball (January – April), volleyball (July – August), and basketball (September – December), and are required to attend a mandatory orientation and training sessions in addition to a teaching clinic before the start of the season. Every attempt will be made to secure two coaches for each team. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach/instructor for the sports program, please send a completed

Officials
Officials are needed for both volleyball (January – April), volleyball (July – August), and basketball (September – December). All officials must have experience. Games are held Monday – Thursday evenings at Girls Inc. Officials will be scheduled at an initial orientation. Sports Volunteers
We are always in need of volunteers to help keep score, sell concessions, and help in other ways during the season. If you are interested in volunteering for the sports program, please send a completed application to Lucy Berger, Girls Inc., 1108 W. 8th St., Bloomington, IN 47404 and we will contact you to set up a schedule. Volunteers should be able to commit to at least one day each week during the season. Games are held Monday – Thursday evenings at Girls Inc.
