We also wish for supporters to become advocates for girls! You don't have to be a volunteer at Girls Inc. to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. There are many things you can do to help girls in our community...

• Introduce girls to career options at your place of business.
• Introduce girls to financial concepts that your business deals with on a daily basis. 
• Engage your colleagues in a discussion about the Girls Inc. Girls' Bill of Rights. 
• Introduce girls to top women leaders in your organization or company.
• Find out if your organization supports programs that empower girls; if not, advocate for it!
• Encourage equal opportunities for girls and sports in your school system.
• Advocate for gender-awareness training for businesses.
• Advocate for a safe environment for girls in the schools and other environments.
• Be in favor of fair and safe juvenile facilities that adequately meet the needs of girls.
  Does our juvenile justice system understand the different needs of girls and boys?
• Become involved in organizations that serve girls, such as Girls Incorporated of Monroe County. We are looking for passionate individuals to serve on our board.
